Johnson & Johnson is facing thousands of lawsuits over its Risperdal drug, which can lead to men developing ‘man boobs’
A man who grew bigger boobs than the girls at his high school is suing a pharmaceutical company over one of its drugs.
Eddie Bible, from Oklahoma, has filed a lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson over the company’s Risperdal drug allegedly giving him ‘man boobs’.
Mr Bible, who has since undergone breast reduction surgery, claims the side effects of the antipsychotic drug were not advertised.
He started taking Risperdal to treat his bipolar and anxiety disorders when he was 13, although he was unaware a potential side effect of the drug was gynecomastia.
Thousands of people are suing Johnson & Johnson over the drug, Mail Online reports.
Nicholas Murray won a $8billion (£6billion) payout from the firm on Tuesday, although company bosses are appealing the Pennsylvania jury’s judgement.
Experts think the amount of compensation awarded will be reduced in the appeal.
