Should Macomb County child rapist be released from prison ?
A Macomb County assistant prosecutor contended a convicted child rapist should remain in prison due to the “horrific” nature of the assaults, his continued attraction to young girls and lack of an effective relapse-prevention plan.
Assistant Prosecutor Todd Schmitz argued in front of the state Court of Appeals in Detroit on Tuesday that Richard McBrayer should stay in prison for the early 1990s rapes of his stepdaughter, Tiffany Henderson, who was 12 to 14 at the time.
